Rates

Standard Counseling Session (50 minutes):  $200 per session 

***extended time may be requested in 10-minute increments at $40 per 10-minutes

Ability to Pay | Financial Hardship

A limited amount of openings for reduced-fee counseling services are available for those who do not have the ability to pay and/or are experiencing financial hardship. Reduced fee counseling services may be offered based on the completion and review of an application, and dependent on the availability of openings.

Insurance

Hope Healing does not accept insurance, although your insurance provider may cover fees as an out-of-network provider. Your plan may not offer out-of-network benefits.  Clients are responsible for checking into these benefits, and should notify their counselor prior to the first appointment if they will be looking to utilize insurance, as a diagnosis and super-bill is often required. Fees are due at the time of service, and clients are responsible for payment regardless of insurance reimbursement. 

There are benefits to self-pay vs. insurance:

1) A diagnosis is not required for self-pay clients. With insurance, a diagnosis will be ‘on record’ and may compromise one’s ability to obtain life, health, or disability insurance.

2) Insurance may deny reimbursement if the diagnosis does not fit their criteria and/or limit session lengths and treatment options. With self-pay, treatment options will be created collaboratively and determined by you, the client.

3) Privacy is preserved with self-pay in ways insurance cannot. For example, diagnosis and information related to care is shared with your insurance and is left to their own policies to share information.

For those who would like to check into out-of-network benefits, Mentaya offers a way to check benefits and submit claims for 5% per claim. 

Payment

Cash, checks, and most major credit cards are accepted as forms of payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged the full rate of the session.

HSA (Health Savings Account)/ FSA (Flexible Spending Account)

Hope Healing LLC accepts HSA or FSA payments/cards. Please check with your provider to confirm if there are any additional requirements or documentation to utilize either payment method.
